Description

Aphrodite Greek Goddess of Love and Beauty using the Roman Lady doll maker and The Game of Thrones.

In the first pic on the left the red necklace is a gift from Ares and the red ring on her hand in all 3 is from Ares. The third pic and Game of thrones in the pink outfit are her usal outfits while the outfit in white is what she wears when appearing to mortals or go to parties, as well as the cream yellow outfit which can also be casual..

Aphrodite is the Goddess of Love, Beauty, Pleasure and Procreation. She is either the daughter of Ouranus (or rather his severed genitals) and Thalassa or Zeus and Oceanid Dione, though I am choosing Thalassa and Ouranous and thinking maybe Aphrodite grew very slowly and Thalassa later fostered her to Dione after her affair with Zeus resulting in the other nymphs thinking she was Zeus' daughter until they learned the truth but the theory had already spread. She was married to Hephaestus, was because one myth states later after her divorce Hephaestus was married to Aglaia and she was married to Ares her true love.

She had a jealous streak, after being caught by Hephaestus with Ares in a net and displayed to everyone she discovered Eos trying to seduce Ares and she cursed her with an insatiable need for men. Another time she became intensly jealous when a mortal Princess named Psyche was considered by mortal men to be more beautiful then her and she sent her son Eros to cause her to fall in love with a beast or a horrible man but he fell in love with her and married her but when she broke a rule he had placed he left despressed and with a burned shoulder from some spilled oil and she atteneded to him and she discovered Psyche was begging for forgiveness and so she made her do some menial jobs and finally sent her to the underworld to retrieve a box of beauty from Queen Persephone to help her son, a lie, she didn't expect her to return but she did and her son found her and forgave her and brought her to olympus were he properly married her and she was made a Goddess. She no longer was jealous as Psyche was now a Goddess and she gave her a gift, her own set of wings so that she could fly with her son.

She had also once while playing with her son Eros had gotten stabbed in her foot by one of his perminant love arrows and she ran off and sighted Adonis and fell in love with him and had Persephone care for him, although Persephone later wanted to claim him as a companion it was worked out by Zeus that Adonis would spend some time with Both Goddesses and Adonis spent 2/3 of the year with her. Ares angry morphed into a boar and killed him, although he still got to spend time with her. Not long after she may have managed to free herself from the power of the arrow as Ares had been captured by the Aloadai and placed in a bronze jar for 13 months. Thus her love and worry for him may have freed her as there are no more myths of Adonis with Aphrodite not long after he died.

She is one of the 12 Olympians on the council.

Note: For Enyalios, either Aphrodite, Eris or Enyo are listed as possible mothers although Aphrodite may be the mother. Polemos has no parent listed so I am assuming he is Ares and Aphrodite's son. Kleta and Phaenna are listed in with different charities and the two were worshipped in Sparta, so I am assuming they were Ares and Aphrodite's kids.

Possibly The Makhai who were 5 Gods and Goddesses of Battle and Combat, They were possibly the kids of Ares then its possible Aphrodite was the mother. They were
20. Kydoimos - God of Confusion, who haunted the Battlefield

Possible kids

By Anchises of Troy

2. Lyros

Her roman name is Venus and she was also identified with the Syrian Goddess Astarte.

She was also known as Cytheria, although Cytheria may have been another Goddess possibly her daughter who looked exactly like her but with blue eyes and thus Cytheria may have been the mother of Aeneas and Lyros.

Eros, Anteros, Himeros, Pothos and Hedylogos were also known as the winged erotes as they had wings.

Paregoros, The Elder Charities, The Erotes and others were her attendants and her sons Deimos and Phobos were attendants to their father.

There is some confusion if wether she was mother or not of Priapus by Dionysus, although he is listed as having different mothers, so she may have not been the mother. There is also some myhs stating she had a daughter with Adonis named Beroe but she has been also stated to be a Oceanid

She was very Beautiful only rivaled by Psyche.

Her areas of worship in Southern Greece were Attica, Korinthia, Megaris, Aigina, Argolis, Lakonia, Sikyonia, Messenia, Salamis, Akhaia, Arkadia, and Elis. In central greece Boeotia, Phocis, and Ozolian Locris. In Northern Greece Thessalia. In the greek Aegean the islands of Delos, and Kos. North of Greece Thrace and Illyria. As well as Cyprus, In Anatolia the towns of Karia, Lydia, Mysia and Pamphylia. And Egypt, Libya, Sicily, Latium in Southern Italy and Gaul.

Plants that were associated with her was the apple tree, rose, myrtle, Myrrh tree, Anemone and Lettuce. Animals that were sacred to her was the Turtle Dove, sparrow, goose and hare. Also sacred Icon items to her was the apple and dove.

Also he chariot was driven by doves.

Interesting enough the greek Gods are divided into categories she is listed with the Theoi Halioi (Gods of the Sea) as a minor Sea Deity. Also she was listed the Theoi Daitioi (Gods of Feasts and Banquets) as she was a Goddess of Pleasure, The Theoi Gamelioi (Gods of Marriage) also the Theoi Mousikoi (Gods of music, dance and education in the arts). Her winged sons were also numbered as minor sea Deities.

Aphrodite here has Golden yellow hair and Emerald Green eyes. Her sons Deimos and Phobos have her hair color and eyes but look like Ares. Eros has her hair color and Ares' blue eyes while his twin has Ares' hair and her eye color. Himeros has Ares' sandy blonde hair and her green eyes. And Pothos has pale blonde hair and Ares blue eyes
