Metis 2

Metis was the Greek Titanis Goddess of advise, planning, cunning, craftiness and wisdom. She was the daughter of Oceanus and Tethys and she gave council to Zeus during the titan war against Cronus and she became his wife and became Pregnant but fearing a prophecy made by either his father or Gaia that the son born by her would be more powerful than him he tricked her into transforming into a fly and he swallowed her whole.

Many years later when Athena was full grown she caused Zeus a massive headache and Hephaestus hit him in the forhead and out came Athena and Metis.

Metis was also the mother of the god Porus, long before she married Zeus.

The Necklace on her is a wedding gift by Zeus when he married her and the white jem on her finger is a tiny piece of crystalized thunderbolt, the same with the tiara. Also she has storm grey eyes which she shares with her daughter Athena.

Interesting to note that it is never stated in the myths if Zeus divorced Metis and I doubt that swallowing her counts as Divorce so if they never divorced then Zeus' other marriages don't count which means He is not truely married to Hera and she is the other woman and thus Metis is really the Queen of the Gods.
